Random Perspective: Living to work

Scenario: A discussion with my old friend Frank who up and left his corporate job, moved to Florida and now spends his days fixing up a sailboat that was given to him from a stranger at a bar.

Frank: It's like my old roommate (a Russian dude), once told me, "I don't understand you Americans. You work. Work, work, work and then you DIE."
Me: True that. 10 hour work days suck. Remember when we worked 18 hour days on the road? Booking one-way airline tickets because nobody knew when we were coming back?
Frank: Yeah, that was crap. I'm hanging up now. Dollar beers and happy hour starts at 3:00.
