I made sure I took a photo of myself everyday so I would be reminded that I had fun, smiled, laughed, drank lovely cocktails and spent quality time with wonderful people every single day of my visit to Isla Mujeres. It was so nice to wake up in the morning without an alarm clock and not feel rushed, or with that panic-stricken feeling that I'm already running behind. Getting up everyday ready to do a whole bunch of nothing, or exactly what you want is so liberating. Like Kanye said, "Damn, why can't life always be this easy?"
