In case you're plagued by sad thoughts of stock market losses, don't fret. The Xbox 360 release of Rock Band 2 will totally ease your woes with more sweet-ass rock and roll that is fresh for the strumming. Dude! I got a chance to rock out with my nerds last night (Über, Frank and Thongster) and am left only to drool until the October 19th PS3 release.
The game play is pretty much the same, but the new wireless drums are much quieter and have better bounce back when you play. That, and the bass drum comes with a new metal foot petal for people who have already broken their shiz while getting too carried away. The new guitar has buttons that are easier to press, an easily visible start button and the neck of the guitar seems smaller. The nerds thought it was sublime. Über is eagerly awaiting the new bass guitar that has a split strum bar to really rock out during bass solos. It did cost five bucks to convert the majority of their old music which was cool, but none of the Metallica songs were available for conversion.
